SCA Papers – Trondheim, Norway 27-31 August 2018

Professor David Potter will be presenting two papers at this year’s 32nd Society of Core Analyst’s (SCA) symposium in Trondheim, Norway, 27-31 August 2018, and they are as follows (provisional schedule):

Paper SCA057 (Wednesday 29 August 2018 during the Poster Session taking place between1:50 – 3:00 pm)
Toan H. To, David K. Potter, Aminat Abiola and Vivian T. Ebufegha ” Probe magnetics as as a rapid non-destructive screening tool for consolidated and unconsolidated core in conventional and unconventional reservoirs.”


SPWLA 2018 – London, UK – 59th Annual Symposium – June 2 – 6, 2018

ADP are very excited to have the MagPi technique as used by Maersk Oil on the Culzean Project. This will be presented by John Banks of Maersk under the SPWLA paper ‘Constraining Uncertainty in Complex Reservoir Description. A case history applying Magnetic Susceptibility to estimate Permeability from core Samples and cuttings’.

This will be presented at 2:40 on Wednesday 6th June.
